Manager of Recreation Services – Board of Parks and Recreation - City of Vancouver 

The Vancouver Board of Parks and Recreation is seeking an experienced, service oriented leader to join us as Manager of Recreation Services.  Reporting to the Director of Recreation and acting as a key member of the division’s senior management team, you will lead a team that is responsible for developing and delivering recreation services and facilities, to ensure access for all and to meet the existing and emerging needs of the residents of Vancouver, in order to result in building resilient people and communities.  With other senior Park Board and City of Vancouver staff, you will work collaboratively with government bodies, local businesses, non-profit societies, and community members to progress agreed upon objectives.

As an accomplished professional, you will provide direct leadership to a team of supervisors (both union and exempt) who manage community centres/recreation facilities within a designated area of the city as well as provide leadership for city-wide operations as required.
