1. Concept:
CPRA wants to revise the program offering to achieve the following targets:
- To re-invest in the CPSI program to increase credibility in the playground industry,
- To undertake new development to better serve the constituents; and
- To use the upgraded CPSI program as a model for partnering with the provincial and territorial associations.

The market for the service includes four main categories namely; those wanting a brief introduction to the standard, non-playground workers needing to evaluate the safety of playgrounds, playground workers whose job it is to inspect playgrounds on a regular basis and private consulting companies who audit playgrounds for a living.
