Comedian - Brent Butt

Presented by: SHB Architects

Brent Butt

Brent Butt was born in Tisdale, Saskatchewan (pop. 3000) on August 3, 1966 - the very same day that legendary comedian Lenny Bruce died. The youngest of seven children, Brent discovered that making people laugh was the quickest way to get their attention. However, you can only build a comedy career so far in Tisdale - and so it wasn’t long before Brent headed for the bright lights of Toronto. In a few years, he went from doing 5 minutes on amateur night in Saskatoon to performing professionally for huge crowds in Canada and the United States.

Brent’s style, which he refers to as “coffee shop humour”, is comfortable and relaxed. Brent’s career has continued to build momentum over the years. From doing television specials to sold out concert shows in theatres across the country, Brent established himself as one of Canada’s favourite funnymen. In 2003, he teamed up with CTV to create the hugely popular sitcom “CORNER GAS”. The ratings for the show went through the roof, averaging over a million viewers per episode.

The Seven Summits of Excellence - James Robbins

Presented by: True Sport Lives Here

James Robbins

The Seven Summits are the Highest Mountains on each of the seven continents. They stand for excellence and achievements, the very things we were destined for. Unfortunately most people drift through life unprepared and ill equipped for the challenges ahead. Without goals, burned out, and struggling just to keep up, we settle for the path of least resistance while burying our inner potential for greatness. A study of high achievers reveals there are rituals that peak performers have in common. These rituals are available for anyone who desires a life of excellence.

James Robbins has been teaching leadership and peak performance for the last 12 years. After leading non-profit organizations across North America, James founded The Robbins Group in 2003. A dynamic speaker and teacher, James sought to find a system that incorporated all of the principles of peak performance into one place. He began creating ‘On To The Summit’™ when all other systems seemed to fall short in sustaining great results. James loves adventure and wishes more people today would live the life they were destined to.
