Common Vision

CPRA is pleased to support the recently released ‘Common Vision for increasing physical activity and reducing sedentary living in Canada: Let’s Get Moving’

The Common Vision was developed by federal-provincial-territorial governments as a guide to addressing physical inactivity and sedentary behavior among Canadians of all ages and abilities.  The Common Vision was developed in close consultation with the sector including CPRA.

The Common Vision directly references the Framework for Recreation. The five goals of the Framework are amplified and aligned in the Common Vision

The resources made available through the Common Vision can be used by organizations, communities and their leaders, governments, and for-profit groups. Common Vision is a new national policy that can be used alongside the Framework for Recreation to implement and align the goals and priorities.
