Framework for Recreation Update 2024
Significant changes have occurred since the release of the Framework in 2015. To address these developments, we have created the Framework for Recreation in Canada Update: Reflecting the Current Context. This update was developed by the sector, for the sector, through a consultation process that engaged dozens of constituents across Canada. The sector overwhelmingly agreed that a more robust consultation process should be employed for the next iteration of the Framework. This update is not meant to replace the original document but to highlight the current context and provide new information that impacts the sector and the development of recreation and parks strategies and action plans.
