About the Program

The Canadian Parks and Recreation Association (CPRA) has secured Government of Canada funding through Sport Canada to support the Reaching Each and Every One initiative. This program will provide direct financial support to non-governmental non-profit community organizations delivering inclusive sport programming to equity-deserving groups.

The goals of the Reaching Each and Every One initiative are to: 

• Support community sport initiatives for under-represented groups, in particular those who are Indigenous, racialized, or living with a disability.  
• Increase participation and retention in sport among under-represented groups. 
• Break down barriers to accessing recreational sport opportunities for under-represented groups.
