Help Shape the Framework for Recreation and Parks in Canada
The 2015 Framework for Recreation in Canada is being renewed, now known as the Framework for Recreation and Parks in Canada. A Framework Leadership Team (FLT) is being recruited to guide the development of the new document, as well as the resources and supports that will surround it.
CPRA is currently seeking a local recreation/parks representative to join the FLT and contribute to shaping this national policy statement.
If you work in local recreation and/or parks and are interested in this opportunity, please submit an Expression of Interest answering the following questions:
- Your name and current role in recreation and/or parks (including your location)
- Email address and phone number
- Why you are interested in being a part of the FLT
- Any specific areas of interest or perspectives you are hoping to bring to the FLT
FLT members will meet virtually from 12:00 to 1:30 PM (ET) on the 4th Wednesday of each month until February 2027, with materials shared in advance and opportunities to engage your networks throughout the process.
