My position with Recreation Nova Scotia allows me the opportunity to learn about the groundbreaking and inspiring work that organizations throughout Nova Scotia are doing to be more inclusive, diverse and accessible in recreation settings. This month, I had the pleasure of writing about the Nova Scotia Off Road Riders Association and their efforts to be more inclusive to women and girls. Their approach to creating a safe, informative and fun environment for women and girls to learn how to ride dirt bikes is nothing short of phenomenal. Congrats to their Executive Director, Claudine Laforce and the team at NSORRA for hosting the Women in Motto event!
